Cheap and Affordable Adventure Racing in ArizonaAdventure Racing is a place where anybody interested in adventure racing, especially those involved in the sport, can go to discover real information about a particular race. They have as many stories as possible, written by the actual racers who have partakes in the event giving an unbiased look at what the race was like, and providing a great educational resource for future races. Its kind of humorous to look into some adventure racers garages and see two different kayaks, three bikes, several backpacks and a half dozen pairs of shoes lined up by the door, as well as shelves full of who-knows-what, but the basic gear to get started in adventure racing is really quite simple. First off, since roughly each race involves some sort of off-road biking, you will require a mountain bike. It doesnt have to be a top of the line full-suspension, brake pedal, carbon fiber super bike, but it should be well made and well maintained. Look around and you may be able to pick up a superior worn bike for $200-$300 dollars. (Dont bother with a used helmet though - old helmets really DO wear out and the Styrofoam breaks down sufficient that it wont protect your head when (not if) you crash.) If youve partake in an adventure race, theres doubt that youve wanted to tell others regarding what the race was like. You can effortlessly post your story (no matter how brief) and photos from the occasion and then your friends, relatives, and whoever else youd like to share your experiences can easily read your story. Even more prominently, when you do this, youll motivate others to become interested in adventure racing. |
